Doodle 4 Google Contest

Calling all artists! This February, Bright students will be participating in the 10th annual Doodle 4 Google contest. This year's theme is "What Inspires Me." We will be exploring the topic as a school to help students create their best and most inspiring works of art. Students in grades 1-5 are invited to join Mrs. Davis in the Centennial Theater tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. to review the contest guidelines and brainstorm ideas for individual student doodles. If your child would like to attend the morning work session with Mrs. Davis please email her at [email protected]  so she has the proper amount of materials for each student participant. If your child is unable to attend the work session but still wants to participate, you can print out an entry form at doodle4google.com or email Mrs. Davis for a PDF copy of the form. For more information please click here for the parent letter.

Happy Cart Help

The Bright School Parents' Association provides snacks for faculty and staff each week in the Happy Cart room in the main office and now in the work room of the Early Childhood Center. There are several spots remaining for volunteers to bring snacks. To sign up for the main office and in the ECC, use this link. For more information about supplying the Happy Cart rooms, check this handy document.

Box Tops Collection

Have your kids help clip and collect Box Tops and send them in (labeled with your child's name, grade and teacher) by Friday February 23. The overall school winner will receive a customized S'well water bottle that can be reused daily and filled with the new water fountain at school. Remember, our goal this year is to collect 12,000 Box Tops to pay for the new water fountain/bottle filling station by the gym.

Used Uniform Sale

The next used uniform sale will be Wednesday, March 7, from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the treehouse, which is located upstairs above the main lobby.
