Make a Gift to the Bright Fund by Friday

Parents, jump in and make a splash for Bright School with a gift to the Bright Fund. You should have received a letter at home from Jennifer and Carlos Baleeiro, our Bright Fund parent chairs. No matter the size of your gift - $5, $50 or $500 - we want 100% participation from parents, faculty, staff and board of trustees to fulfill the vision of the school. When you help your children's education by Friday, they get to "jump in" with a Brazilian beach party. You may donate using the envelope you received or online on our website

There will be a random drawing from all parents who contribute by Friday at 11 a.m. for a $100 gift certificate to Rodizio Grill.

Sponsorships Deadline Is Wednesday

There are four levels of sponsorships. For more information, visit our sponsorshipswebpage or contact Kim Brown, director of advancement. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday.

Art Field Trip for Grades 3-5

Art classes this year will explore the impact of local art. Last year, a group of students and art teacher Thankful Davis worked with Public Art Chattanooga in coloring the "Blue Trees." This semester, art classes will learn about hometown artist Wayne White, and Mrs. Davis is offering a field trip to view his art installation "Wayne-O-Rama" at Tenn Arts Space at 1800 Rossville Ave on August 31. Students will leave school after lunch. This artistic field study will give students a unique opportunity to see art as a vehicle for narrative and historic preservation. If you would like your child in grades 3-5 to attend, please email Mrs. Davis by Thursday, August 24. This experience is limited in number, so it is a first come, first served opportunity.
