Phase-In Days

Phase-In Days are Thursday, August 17, and Friday, August 18.

Students attend only on the assigned day during the first days of school. Phase-in day is a full day for students. Students in grades PK-5 wear their uniforms. Parents will park and walk to the classrooms with their children that day for a meet and greet between 8-8:30 a.m.

Cadek Music Conservatory will be onsite Thursday, August 17 and Friday, August 18 if any families would like to register for music instruction or if you have questions about their programs. For more information about Cadek or to register, click here.

For new families: We'd like to invite all new families to the Peeples Pavilion at 9 a.m. on your phase-in day for coffee and a brief program to learn about the fundamentals of Bright School. The elementary school years are a time of great wonder and change and we want to make your family's transition to Bright as easy as possible.

If you did not receive an email about Phase-In Day, please contact Renee' Kropff at rkropff@brightschool.com

Used Uniform Sale

Used uniforms will be available during both Phase-In Days. You may shop in the morning between 7:30-9 a.m. or in the afternoon between 2-4 p.m.

Parents' Association

Members of the Parents' Association will have tables set up on the concourse during Phase-In. If you are interested in volunteering as a room rep or for any of the Parents' Association activities (e.g., used uniform, bookstore, flower sales, Pop-Up Shop, etc.), please stop by!

Emails were sent on August 4 to notify you of your child's teacher. Teachers will send personal notes in the mail to students. If you get photos of your students opening their letters, we'd love to see them! Please email pictures to Deanna Luna, director of communications and marketing, at dluna@brightschool.com.

The Social Institute: A Program for Parents

In collaboration with St. Peter's School and Brainerd Baptist School, we are excited to offer a seminar for parents about navigating the challenges of social media and technology. This seminar aims to equip parents with proactive tools to empower children in embracing a healthy and high-character approach to the digital world. Instead of resorting to fear and restrictions, we invite you to join us for a refreshing and practical presentation on parenting in the digital age.

Leading this discussion will be Laura Tierney, the esteemed Founder, and CEO of The Social Institute, a recognized leader in the field with a national presence. Together, we will engage in an interactive exploration of innovative strategies to foster positive social media and tech usage for our children, flipping the script on the common challenges faced in this digital era.

Mark your calendars for this special event.
Date: Thursday, September 14
Time: 6 p.m.
Where: Calvary Chapel, 3415 Broad Street, Chattanooga, TN 37409
