Hurricane Book Drive and Pause for Paws End Wednesday
The fourth graders will continue to pick up new and gently-used children's books from each classroom through Wednesday. These books will be donated to children in the Houston area and shipped by Destinee's Gift Inc. There has been a great response so far, but we need more books!
It's a tight competition between all the grades for which has brought the most pet supplies for Pause for Paws, organized by fifth grader Isabella Moore. The items will be donated to the Riverview Animal Hospital and Humane Educational Society. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!
One More Week to Sell Charleston Wrap
Thank you to everyone who has sold Charleston Wrap so far! Proceeds from the sales will go toward the dining hall renovations.
If you have sold any item or made a donation of any amount, please turn in your child's participation ticket to the office. The participation ticket was included in the Charleston Wrap packet. This helps us keep track of what percentage of students is participating in each class. Classes with at least 75% participation will receive a lunch from Chick-fil-a! These classes have already hit 50%: K-Greene, 1-Cooper, 1-Levine, 1-Sharpe, 3-Womack, 3-Hyer, 4-Angel, 4-Satterfield and 5-Warren.
The other ticket is for sending out 10 emails through the Charleston Wrap website. There is a small prize in the office for turning in this ticket.
Follow the directions on the packet to register your student for online orders. The deadline to submit all orders is 3 p.m. next Monday, October 2. Any orders submitted after this deadline will still be processed but not counted toward the class total.

Shop teacher Richard Parks is seeking old/used adult button-down style shirts for the students to use as paint smocks. If you have any to donate, please bring them to the office. Thank you!

You do not have to fill all the spaces on the flyer. You also will receive a list of products that have Box Tops and information about the Box Tops App, which helps you earn extra points when you scan your grocery receipt.
