Auction Volunteers Needed!

The Bright School auction is coming soon! It will be open for bidding online October 25 through November 1. The auction is online only, so feel free to bid in the comfort of your own home, even in your pajamas! Students will wear their pajamas to school on the final day of the auction.

Volunteers are needed! If you can contact a business or two, please stop by Kim Brown's office. There are several forms for local businesses that you can pick up to contact.

We are already collecting auction items, so if you have anything to donate, please email Kim Brown

Starting the School Day Well

An area that we put much focus on during these first weeks of the school year is building classroom community. One strategy is through a classroom’s morning meeting. This is an opportunity for our teachers and students to come together, talk about what is happening during that day and ways that we can support each other. Topics will vary, but it is a great reminder as we start the day that students are part of a class community.

In order for students to fully engage in the start of the school day, they need to be in their classroom and ready to go when the day begins at 8 a.m. These first moments set the tone for the rest of the day and it is important for students to be here to experience all that the teachers have poured so much intentionality into for them. While we recognize that these first weeks of school can be a transition, we ask that you make every effort to have your children at school early enough so that they can be settled in their classrooms by 8 a.m.

Driveway Access for our Neighbors

When you are waiting in the carline, please not not block the driveways of our neighbors on McDade Lane. Our neighbors need to be able to get in and out of their driveways at all times.

Carline Reminders

Morning carpool drop off has been shifted so that the first car drops off right in front of the columns. Please pull all the way forward when you are dropping off.

Please do not drive down the middle lane when entering campus during morning and afternoon carpool times. All cars should follow the flow of traffic. The Early Childhood traffic is able to exit the morning carpool traffic flow using the exit lane in front of the library.
