Fourth graders took Mr. Morgan on a virtual tour of the 50 states during their week in the Spring of Gratitude. Mr. Morgan loves to travel!
Third graders celebrated Mr. Morgan in the Spring of Gratitude by sharing what they learned during their colonial unit. They ate a colonial lunch, danced and enjoyed a special video.
The 44th Bright School High Jump took place outdoors for the first time. Fifth graders Banks Born and Catherine Curtis were the top jumpers.
Second graders learned about three countries Mr. Morgan visited with students during his time at Bright for their week in the Spring of Gratitude. They studied Germany, Mexico and Japan.
Third graders learned about and dressed as blacksmiths, bakers, milliners, and other tradespeople from the colonial era. Their studies culminated in the traditional Colonial Day with many activities.
High school senior Lauren Yim tutors inner-city children and helps collect items for local food kitchens at her school. Because of her dedication to helping others, she was named the 2021 Citizen of the World, an award for young alumni.

Remember when Bright School set the world record for the biggest cookie mosaic in 2012? First grade celebrated this accomplishment during Mr. Morgan's tenure during their week in the Season of Gratitude.
Mr. Morgan is spending the night on the roof after students and their families read 1 million minutes. This was one of the things Mr. Morgan wanted to do before he retires.
The Young Southern Student Writers program is recognizing 19 students in grades 3-5 for their poetry and prose pieces. There were 2,000 submissions this year and 250 winners chosen across Hamilton County.
