Students brought more than 700 canisters of oats to school to donate to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. This one-day drive coincided with the annual fifth grade vs. faculty basketball game. Students who brought the most oats got front row seats at the game.

The top-oats donors from each grade got to shoot a basket during halftime of the game. The overall school winner was third grader Charlotte Hoss, and her teacher, Mrs. Reasor, was the top oats teacher.

Oats is a good breakfast, and the number of canisters donated equates to about 20,000 meals.
