International Dot Day celebrates being brave and creative like Peter Reynolds' vision in his book, The Dot. Students in all grades made their own dots in library and art class, and the dots are displayed throughout the school.

Two students, Katie Kopet and Briley Kesler, won signed copies of the The Dot to take home after they turned in dots made at home with their families.

Art teacher Thankful Davis and librarian Elizabeth Oakes introduced Dot Day to students with a video about the book and how a little girl learns to appreciate her own creativity and passes it on to another child, who also is not sure of his artistic abilities.
