Weeks of research, creativity and hard work paid off for fourth graders at the completion of their state projects. A long tradition for fourth graders, the state project takes place in the spring. In the fall, fourth graders learn about Tennessee. Then each fourth grader is assigned one of the other states to research. Students create a display, bring a dish from their state and dress up as a historical or current person from their state and give a presentation to their class and parents.
