It's a tradition at Bright for each grade (K-5) to perform a play each year. Each child has a part, and most plays have several musical numbers. Teachers choose plays based on the appropriate topic and personality of the students. This year's second grade play was centered around the one thing children dream about each winter -- SNOW! And what comes with snow? A snow day. The children in this play realize there can sometimes be too much of a good thing, but they can have fun even when it's cold.
The play was performed January 25 and 26. The first grade is next with its play February 13 and 14.
